Miller Anderson proudly announces that one of its founders, Heather G. Anderson has received numerous honors awarded from her peers.
In July, Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, Tim Burchett, appointed her to the Public Building Authority Board. The PBA currently develops, constructs, owns, and/or maintains certain facilities on behalf of the City Knoxville and Knox County pursuant to operating contracts with those entities.
Heather was selected by her peers for inclusion in the 23rd Edition of The Best Lawyers in America for her work in Employment Law – Individuals and Litigation – Labor and Employment, as well as met the requirements of Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 and will be listed as a General Civil Mediator and the firm will offer her services as a civil mediator. She is already listed as a Family Mediator.
Anderson is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and holds a law degree from the University of Memphis. Her law practice focuses on employment, real estate litigation, and family law. She has been selected by her peers as a Top Attorney in City View Magazine in the employment law and adoption fields and recognized by SuperLawyers for real estate. She was named as a Top 40 Under 40 in 2002 by the Memphis Business Journal and also in 2013 by the Greater Knoxville Business Journal.
